Pie Pumpkins ready for your kitchen at Dennison’s Roadside Market
Are you ready for the thrill of watching the temperatures and the leaves gently fall? For walks along trails under trees covered with golds and reds? For wagonloads of pumpkins and gourds and the bounty of late harvest time? For gathering around campfires with wienie roasts and s’mores? And hayrides?
Kentucky is the perfect place to enjoy the change of seasons, and we have 5 ways You can Hitch Your Wagon to immerse yourself in fall in Kentucky.
1. Farm Wagon Hayrides and Wagonloads of Pumpkins and Gourds at Dennison’s Roadside Market
This Kentucky Proud Roadside Market is the ideal place to experience fall in Hart County. Beginning in late September, you can take a hayride on their farm wagon to the patch to choose your own perfect pumpkin. Or you can browse the wagonloads of pumpkins and gourds for those special seasonal decorations or pies. PRO TIP: While you’re there, you must try a hand-dipped caramel apple, grab an ice-cold bottle of Ski from the cooler, and sit on a front porch rocking chair to enjoy the crisp country air..
