Kentucky Down Under

Destination Hart with Daniel Bowman, recently traveled to Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo. They are open year round and have earned that word, adventure, in their name.

Our favorite thing about KDU is the way it makes us feel like kids again.

You can hold a snake, or not. Laugh with a kookaburra. Explore a cave. Feed a tortoise. Eat some homemade fudge. Have a staring contest with a sloth. Watch wolves and dingoes play. Take a horse drawn carriage ride around the zoo. Feed a goat or a lorikeet. You can watch a sheepdog work the herd. And you can pet a kangaroo.
